Personal Identifiable Information, the client/user shares with Kingster Education shall have a meaning derived from the definition of ‘Personal Information or ‘Personal Data as per respective Data Protection Laws applicable to the Client.
The information provided by the client /user is used only in accordance with the purpose described in the Policy. Company collects through company’s Platform, or through third-party platforms being used by the company, the information that Client provides to the Company when a user signs up for information updates or Programs, participate in company’s public forums, avail company’s chat room services, send clients/user emails, call the user, participate in online or offline events, and receive other services on or through company’s Platform or any of Kingster Education’s or its Educational Partners’ offline activities. This information may include, among other things, clients name, postal address, email address, contact number, social security or tax identification numbers, login credentials (in the case of registered users), educational qualification(s), salary information, working goals, post-qualification experience, and photographs. In addition, the company collects demographic information such as clients’ gender, socio-economic status, and other similar personal information. In scholarships, refunds, or referrals, the company will collect the Client’s account information. Other than this, the company does not collect any of clients’ financial information, and third-party payment gateway providers process all payments.
The company collects this information in several ways, including when Clients enter it while using the company’s Platform, interact with the company’s customer support, or participate in the company’s surveys or marketing promotions.
Kingster Education or its Educational Partners and third-party service providers may, for instance, collect certain information from the Client in conjunction with assignments, exams, and other assessments related to the online course. For example, as part of a proctored exam for a course, Kingster Education (or its third-party service providers) may collect certain Personally Identifiable Information from the Client to (a) verify or authenticate Clients identity or submissions made by Client, such as a signature for a test or an assignment log, a photograph or a recording of Client (e.g., using a company webcam) or information included on a photo identification card or document, or (b) monitor clients performance during an exam to confirm that Client is abiding by the applicable test rules or requirements (e.g., confirming that Client is not using prohibited resources). Kingster Education may also collect information from the Client or about Clients performance or Clients accomplishments, such as quiz/exam scores, grades, project evaluations, teacher evaluations, and other evaluations of the Client’s performance or accomplishments.
Should the Client needs any financial assistance, Kingster Education may recommend certain third-party credit facility providers. Should Client opt to sign up with such credit facility providers, any information the Client provides to them will be governed by their terms of use and policies, as a client would be their direct customer. Please note, Kingster Education does not control, manage or regulate such third-party providers.
