EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS
The company may share the information that the company collects from the Client with the particular Educational Partner (e.g., a university or a company) that developed or offered the Program Client. The instructor(s) who taught, managed, or otherwise oversaw the Program; external graders who will be assessing the Client’s performance; or mentors who will be supporting students. For example, suppose a client is taking a Program through a university. In that case, the company may share Personally Identifiable Information about the Client and Client’s performance with the university to report on the Client’s progress in the Program and enable them to issue a certificate to the Client on completion of the Program. Information shared with the company’s Educational Partners will be subject to such partners’ privacy policies and procedures. Also, the company may archive this information and use it for future communications with the Client.
EMPLOYERS, SPONSORS, AND SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDERS
If the Client is taking a Program that is sponsored or paid for by Client’s employer or a sponsor, or if the Client has availed a scholarship from a third-party scholarship provider, the company may share Client’s Personally Identifiable Information. For example, grades, evaluations, or progress in the Program with the Client’s employer/sponsor/scholarship provider. This information may be shared at any time during the Program or afterward.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
The company provides access to or shares the Client’s information with operations and maintenance contractors and other third parties who strictly perform services on the company’s behalf strictly on confidential terms. They have access to perform these services but are prohibited from using the Client’s information for other purposes. They provide a variety of services to Kingster Education, including billing, sales, marketing, couriers, mentoring, recruitment consulting, product content and features, advertising, analytics, research, customer service, data storage, security, fraud prevention, credit facilities, payment processing, and legal services. Moreover, in certain circumstances, the Company may share certain Personally Identifiable Information and materials with third parties including, but not limited to, service providers such as Facebook or WhatsApp to provide client services that the Client has requested or services that Kingster Education delivers in conjunction with the Programs. Also, the company uses specific third-party platforms to collect the Client’s information (such as Type form or Google Forms). Consequently, the Client’s information may be stored on their servers.
RECRUITMENT SERVICES
Suppose the Client has opted for any of the company’s recruitment services or participates in any of the company’s recruitment activities. In that case, the company will share the Client’s information with recruiters and potential employers. For example, suppose the Client participates in a recruitment drive jointly organized by Kingster Education and a recruitment agency. In that case, the company will share the Client’s information with the recruitment agency and potential employers who wish to consider the Client for employment. In this case, such a recruitment agency or an employer may directly contact the Client to schedule interviews, etc. Please note that their terms and policies will govern any client’s information with the recruitment agency or employer.
Kingster Education offers public sharing features as part of its career services, which, among other features, makes Client’s careers profile as well as Client’s details and information public, including Client’s progress in the Program to others outside of Kingster Education by electing to participate in any of these services, Client acknowledges that any information or materials Client includes in Client’s profile can be viewed by other persons accessing the Platform, including potential or existing employers, recruiters, peers, as well as others on the relevant third-party websites. The Client also acknowledges that the information shared may remain accessible on third-party websites, and those clients have shared the news. In the event, Client makes Client’s profile private after making it public and ceasing to share Client’s information. The Client also acknowledges that Kingster Education has no control over access or information provided to third parties via this mode outside its Website.
ALUMNI PORTAL AND NETWORKING SERVICES
The company may collaborate with certain third-party service providers to arrange and provide networking activities to previous, current, or potential students of Kingster Education. For this purpose, Kingster Education may share certain basic information such as the Client’s name, email address, and cohort details with such third-party service providers to enable them to invite the Client to connect. Should the Client agree to sign up for their services, please note that any information Client may provide will be governed by their policies. In some instances, to facilitate communication between students, the company may share the Client’s information with other students on chat forums such as WhatsApp and Facebook.
GOVERNMENT AND REGULATORY DISCLOSURE
Kingster Education may share Client’s Information with various government authorities in response to court orders or other legal processes to establish or exercise company’s legal rights or to protect company’s property; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases, the company reserves the right to raise or waive any legal objection or right available to the Company. The company may also share the Client’s information when the company believes it is appropriate to investigate, prevent or take appropriate action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities; to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Kingster Education the Platform, company’s users, customers, or others; and in connection with company’s Terms and other agreements.
ASSOCIATES AND BUSINESS TRANSFERS
Kingster Education may share Client’s Personally Identifiable Information with any Associate. The term “Associate” includes, concerning any person, any entity that such person controls, or any entity that owns such person, or any entity that is under common control with such person, whether directly or indirectly, or, in the case of a natural person, any Relative (as such a term is defined in the Companies Act, 1956, and Companies Act, 2013, to the extent applicable) of such a person.
Kingster Education may disclose and transfer Client’s Personally Identifiable Information to an acquirer, assignee, or other successor entity in connection with a sale, merger, or reorganization of all or substantially all of the equity, business, or assets of Kingster Education to which Client’s Personally Identifiable Information relates.
BUSINESS PARTNERS
Kingster Education may share information that can directly contact the Client with third-party business partners, such as companies that may be offering products or services or other opportunities that may be of interest to the Client.
